Botanical printing, often called ‘ecoprinting’, is the process of dyeing paper or fabric with leaves, roots, barks, flowers, and other found botanical materials. This two session workshop facilitated by Judaica artist Noam Mason will guide you through building a dyepot and creating ecoprinted papers to use in illustrating a section of Perek Shirah, a collection of Tanakh verses attributed to the embodied voices of the natural world. Materials will be mailed to your home. Cost of participation is $15. Children and families warmly welcomed.
Sign up by January 1st to ensure the materials reach you in time!
